How Can severe Persistent Cough Be Treated?
My mother ev is 35%,she is under medication for last 6yr.At present she has a cough for the last 15days,no improvement after taking cough syrup with antibiotics. What to do?her regular medicine are_lasix 40mg,inapure,car divas,planep,rosulit cv,flavodon mr,cloralit mv. Kindly suggest for her cough.my mail YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
Any a cough with duration more than two week needs evaluation by chest x-ray. Kindly mention whether you have dry cough or wet cough according to which further comment can be given.
An allergic cough, tuberculosis are some of the common cause. Antihistaminic drug or dextromethorphan syrup can be prescribed SOS.
